John Deacon net worth & biography:

Of the four members of the group, he was the last to join and also the most youthful, being just 19 years old when he was recruited by the other members of the group. Deacon composed several Queen’s hit singles, including “You’re My Best Friend”, “Spread Your Wings”, “Back Chat”, “I Want to Break Free”, as well as the group’s biggest selling single in America, “Another One Bites the Dust”, along with several record tracks. He also played electric and acoustic guitars on several records and, to a lesser extent, keyboards, synthesizers, programming and drums. He sometimes supplied backing vocals during live shows.

He played bass guitar on the last Queen tune, “No-One but You (Only the Good Die Young)” — released that year on the “Queen Rocks” compilation — after which he retired in the music business. He failed to participate in the Queen Paul Rodgers cooperation, in Queen’s induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, in Queen’s performance through the final ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics, or Queen Adam Lambert cooperation.

John Deacon Net Worth $107 Million Dollars

Looks like we don't have John Deacon salary information. Sorry!

#Fact
1Has written to Roger Taylor and Brian May saying that he supports anything they chose to do as "Queen," but has chosen to effectively retire from the music business. [September 2004]
2Wrote the Queen Song "You're My Best Friend" in tribute to his wife Veronica.
3Is the only Queen member not to sing lead vocals on any Queen track.
4Queen was awarded a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Recording at 6356 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California.
5Inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2003, along with fellow Queen members Freddie Mercury and Roger Taylor.
6Was in charge of the bands finances.
7His other main instrument was the double bass, which he played on Brian May's 1975 song '39. Brian had asked John to play upright bass as a joke. A couple of days later, however, May found Deacon in the studio with a double bass that Deacon had already learned to play. He also played the double bass on a music video for the song, "Who Wants to Live Forever?".
8Last appeared on stage on the 17th of September, 1997, at the Theatre National De Chaillot, in Paris. There, with Roger Taylor and Brian May, performed "The Show Must Go On" (with Elton John singing) to close the Bejart Ballet's Opening Night Gala performance of "Le Presbytere N'a Rein Perdu De Son Charme Ni Le Jardin De Son Eclat." So far, this is the last time the surviving members of Queen have performed together.
9Graduated with a First in Electronic Engineering from Chelsea College, University of London. Used knowledge to fix Queen's sound equipment in the early days.
10He has performed with the SAS (Spike Edney's All Stars) Band.
11Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001 (as a member of Queen).
12His parents are Arthur Henry and Lilian Deacon.
13Deacon has an electronics degreee from Chelsea College - London University.
14John and his wife Veronica have six children : Michael, Robert, Laura, Joshua, Luke and Cameron.
15Wrote the Number One smash hit song, "Another One Bites the Dust."
16Was credited as "Deacon John" on Queen's first self-titled album. He hated this and got it changed to "John Deacon" for the next album onwards.
17Bass player in rock band Queen.

#Quote
1We tour for our own satisfaction and for the status of the band. It's a long term investment.
2"I probably was the only person in the band who could get a look from the outside, because I was the last to join in. I always knew that Queen had something, but I wasn't very convinced. Maybe until "Sheer Heart Attack" album".

#Trademark
1Invented a curious movement: he followed the rhythm kicking quickly on the floor while his body kept the beat leaning forwards
2Bass guitar [Fender]
