Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs (born September 4, 1953) is an American actor and vocalist. He’s sometimes credited as Lawrence-Hilton Jacobs. Hilton Jacobs was born in NYC, NY, United States, the fifth of nine children of parents Hilton Jacobs (deceased 2000) and Clothilda Jacobs (dead person 2008). He attended Wilkes University to get a brief while before his performing career took off. He started his performing career in the summer of 1969 and graduated in the High School of Art and Design in 1971. Later, he studied acting together with the world famed Negro Ensemble Company as well as the Al Fann Theatrical Ensemble. In 1975, he won the part of Freddie “Boom Boom” Washington about the ABC hit comedy show, Welcome Back, Kotter.
